After taking up from a Bronx 4th alarm, I decided to take a ride down to "Ground Zero". I arrived about 7:00am.

This is the view from the roof of Engine & Ladder Company 10 on Liberty Street. As you can see "Ground Zero looks the same now, as it did after the cleanup in 2002.

A huge flag is on the financial center.

The Flag of Honor at "Ground Zero".

A memorial reef on the fence on Church Street.

Police Officers from London pays their respects at "Ground Zero".

A poster protesting the Staten Island landfill.

A Firefighter motorcycle club pay their respects at "Ground Zero".

The motorcycles pass in front of the World Trade Center on Church Street.

We are reminded to NEVER FORGET the victims and their families. After I took this photo, I walked around to West Street, where the families and the various Honor Guards and media were staging. After spending a few moments among the families, I decided to leave the scene. The amount of grief expressed was overwhelming. I could not take any photos. I feel that the families should be able to grieve in peace. Four years has passed and I personally feel like 9/11 happened yeaterday. My heart goes out to the 9/11 families, I pray that there is some way that they may find piece of mind and some sort of closure.
