This is the debris of the South Tower that was used as a ramp until 3-02-02, when the steel ramp was opened. Numerous remains have since been recovered.

A flag was mounted on this beam over the site of the South Tower.

Firefighters and Police Officers continue the search for remains, 16 persons were recovered on 3-23-02, including 4 firefighters. Our prayers go out to the families of the victims.

We are "proud" of our rescue workers for the compassion and dignity that is being shown at "Ground Zero" in the gentle caring way that they are handling the victims of 9-11-01.

When a victim is found the Clergy is called. The work at the WTC is stopped and rescue workers gather around the victim, The helmets are removed and the clergy leads a prayer for the victim. The rescue workers line up along the ramp and salute the victim or victims as they are being removed up the ramp.

At the top of the ramp, rescue workers remove their helmets and a final prayer is given to the victim or victims at the site.
