Hurricane Sandy severly damaged the Jersey Shore. Brick, NJ, Just North of Seaside Heights, had many homes destroyed. There is still no power in parts of the area. The National Guard and the Brick Township police are patroling the area. This is the area that had numerous natural gas fires burning caused by broken gas lines in the streets.
