The first 9 parts of the Freedom Tower Spire arrived from Canada by barge today. The next 9 parts of the spire will be trucked to the WTC complex from New Jersey. The crane will unload the Spires onto a special sized truck. The Kangeroo Cranes on top of the Freedom Tower will bring the spires up to the roof. Photo taken on 12-11-12.

A diver had to attach a cable from the crane onto a block of concrete so it can be taken out of the water. The block of concrete and pole are used to anchor sailboats during the boating season. Photo taken on 12-11-12.
