Hurricane Sandy effected everyone in one way or another. Waiting hours for gasoline was a slight inconvenience compared to people losing everything. What bothered me the most was the helpless feeling that came with losing power and unable to get gasoline for awhile. Hurricane Sandy opened my eyes on how our utilities are so fragile, and how easy it was for Sandy to disrupt so many lives.
